Learning

We offer many opportunities for learning and growing in obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ. The following opportunities are available for group study and learning. We encourage daily Bible reading and prayer in the home.

Bible Studies: Our men and women gather for Bible study and fellowship. Opportunities include:

  • On the first Saturday of each month (September/October - June) at 7 am, men gather for breakfast and Bible study.
  • On the second Thursday of each month at 8 pm, men gather for fellowship, prayer and Bible study in the lounge.
  • On the second Monday of each month (September - June) our Priscilla (women's) Bible study circle meets at 7:30 pm in the church lounge.
  • On the fourth Monday of each month (September - June) our Rebekah (women's) Bible study circle meets at 7 pm in the church lounge. Circle Bible studies often follow the Bible study series in Lutheran Woman Today magazine.
  • During the months of July and August, the women's Bible study circles do not meet, but have a combined prayer breakfast and Bible study, usually on the first Saturday of these months.

    Sunday School: 9:15 am on Sundays
    The regular Sunday school year begins in late August and continues through late May. We offer Sunday school classes for all ages, age 2 - adult.

    Sunday school does not stop in the summer. We offer a combined "large group" class for the children and usually two classes for adults.

    Catechism/Confirmation classes meet from 9:15 am - 10:15 am on Sunday mornings and for special events throughout the school year. Catechism classes begin at sixth grade and continue through eighth grade.

    Vacation Bible School is usually held the third week in June. Check with the office for exact dates.
