Worship

Sunday Worship: 8:00 am and 10:30 am
Since the early days of the Church, Christians have gathered for worship on Sunday, the first day of the week, the day of our Lord's resurrection from the dead. We maintain this pattern. Holy Communion is celebrated weekly at both services, in obedience to our Lord's command to "do this" in remembrance of Him.

  • On the second and fourth Sundays of each month, our praise team (Ps 98) leads us in song at our 10:30 am service.
  • We also offer additional services throughout the year: Ash Wednesday, Wednesdays in Lent (usually with a light supper), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
  • Confirmation is usually celebrated the third Sunday in May.
  • On the Sunday before the Pemberville Fair (usually the second Sunday in August), we worship together with other area Christians at 10 am, usually in a tent in Memorial Park.

Saturday Worship
We gather for worship at 5 pm on the first Saturday of the month with music led by our Praise team (Ps 98)

Sunday Scripture Readings
We follow the Revised Common Lectionary for our Sunday Scripture readings, connecting us ecumenically with Christians around the world.

Sunday School
We offer many opportunities for learning and growing in obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ. See our Learning page for Bible studies, Christian education and Sunday school opportunities.

Music Ministry

  • The Chancel Choir (adult choir) meets to practice on Wednesdays (September - May) in the sanctuary from 7:30 - 8:30 pm.
  • The Bell Choir meets to practice on Wednesdays (September - May) in the sanctuary from 6:15 - 7:15 pm.
  • The Youth Choir (grades K - 12) and Tone Chimes Choir (grades 3 - 12) meet to practice on Thursday nights (September - May) from 5:30 - 6:30 pm.

PS 98 Praise Team
Our praise team, PS98 (for"Psalm 98: Sing to the LORD a new song..."), rehearses on Thursday evenings at 7 pm in the sanctuary.
